first_img Related News KUALA TERENGGANU: The Terengganu government is targeting 6.5 million tourist arrivals, with a projected revenue of RM6bil by 2025.State tourism, culture and information technology committee chairman Ariffin Deraman said in order to achieve the target, Terengganu Tourism Department has prepared a Tourism Strategic Plan 2019-2023.“Terengganu will continue to intensify promotions and exciting, creative and unique events making full use of tourism products in the state so that the objective is achieved, leading to economic spin-offs for the people,” he said.Ariffin, who is also Alor Limbat assemblyman, said this after attending a tourism-related meeting with nine non-governmental organisations at Wisma Darul Iman here.
